Captain: Scott Miller, New Zealand

Scott was born in New Zealand, living in the world. He has been on the ocean since he was a young boy cruising and fishing the New Zealand and Australian coasts. He raced yachts in New Zealand, Australia, Europe and the USA. He has now been working on motor yachts for 20 years and has a great charter following with an in-depth knowledge of the Bahamas, Caribbean and Cuba. He spent many of his earlier years originally in the Mediterranean cruising from Sicily thru to Spain with crossings to the Caribbean. He loves all aspects of the ocean from recreational diving, fishing, surfing to relaxing with his family on  sun drenched beaches. Scott looks forward to welcoming you onboard to spend a wonderful time in an environment of  friendship  and  fun,  to  safely  relax  while  we  diligently  look after all your needs. So please unwind and enjoy the pleasures of your yachting lifestyle.

Chief Stewardess: Bree Warren / australia

Bree grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney with an active appreciation for the beach and bush culture that was on her doorstep. She has a bubbly demeanor and enjoys an outdoor social lifestyle. Bree has been working in the Super Yacht industry for over 5 years extensively cruising the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas, Australia, South America & has completed 4 Transatlantic Crossings. Her previous 10 years work experience was as a Post Natal Nanny, Executive Personal Assistant and Dance Fitness Instructor.

Chef: Rachel Hargrove / USA

Rachel comes from Tampa, Florida. She has travelled extensively for her craft; spending time in Bangkok, studying Thai cuisine and lived in Japan studying Edomae sushi & cuisine to add to her knowledge of Macrobiotic lifestyles. Her range is from molecular gastronomy to homemade gluten free pasta, or even a simple Sunday roast. Rachel spends her free time continuing her education at the Culinary Institute of America or internships like the Michelin starred restaurant Quatro Passi in Nerano, Italy. Recently she has been working at the Chef’s Garden for agricultural sustainability and nutrition. She also has a passion for wine, having completed 1st level of Sommelier under the tutelage of Virginia Philip.

Second Stewardess: Claire Fitoussi / England

Claire is from Christchurch, England and she has always loved being near the sea and travelling from a young age. Her interests include Swimming, Tennis, Long boarding and sunbathing. Claire spent 1.5 years working for a construction company before qualifying as       a dental nurse in England. Her career in yachting started last year after a friend  told  her about his amazing adventures, she decided she had to try it and has enjoyed  going  to wonderful places ever since.

Stewardess: Cloe Terry / New Zealand

 Cloe grew up in Auckland where she attended Otago University to study Computer Science, after which she worked at Lion New Zealand’s largest Alcohol Distribution Company. Cloe Craved a life away from a desk so began travelling. She learnt about yachting through her brother who has been in the industry a few years, Far From It is her first yacht employment and she has a bright future in the industry. Cloe loves being in the water, reading and Yoga. She has travelled through the UK, Pacific Islands, Bali, USA and is looking forward toexploring  new places.

1st  Officer:  Christopher  Carr /  England

Chris was born and raised in Chester, UK and spent his free time rock climbing in the Welsh Snowdonia mountain range. After studying Outdoor pursuits in college Chris entered the yachting industry at the beginning of 2012. During his yachting career he has travelled up and down the Caribbean, into Galapagos and panama, cruised in the Pacific and Sydney harbor, up the coast of South America and around the Mediterranean. He holds Master of Yachts 200gt, Officer of the Watch 3000gt and is an experienced diver.

Engineer: Fanie Oosthuizen / Zimbabwe

Fanie was born in Zimbabwe but grew up in a small town called Nelspruit, on the border of Kruger National Park in South Africa. He was working as an equipment analyst in a paper mill, when in 2000 an engineer friend introduced him to the yachting industry. Fanie  has worked as an engineer on a number of  yachts,  and  has  extensively  sailed  the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Indian Ocean & Asia. He holds the Y3 qualification & plans to progress up  the  ranks  to  obtain  his  Y2  certificate  by  the  end  of 2018. When  Fanie  is not sweating it out in the engine room he is an avid fresh & saltwater

fisherman, diver & golfer.

Deckhand: Robert Layton / Australia

Robert is from Brisbane, Australia where he lived until joining the Australian Army. He spent 7 years as a Soldier in the Army including 2 Afghan tours. After his time on active duty Robert craved a change in lifestyle and pursued a career in Yachting. He has been working on yachts for 3 years, completing extensive world travel. His hobbies include flying drones, travelling and exploring. He holds a Yachtmaster Offshore ticket and is working his way to Officer of the Watch 3000gt

Bosun: Tyler Cubit / USA

Tyler grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina USA. He started boating with his father when he was 4 years old whilst living in Florida for a short period of time and continued on lake Norman in Charlotte throughout his life. He attended the University of Arizona before deciding to pursue a career in Yachting. Tyler has been in yachting for 2 years, cruising the East Coast of America and Bahamas. He has a 100gt USCG captain’s license; he loves to explore new countries and travel when he is not working.
